Trekking, mountain huts or cabin tours, beloved child has many names and these are the hiking trips for you who want to experience something beyond the ordinary. You both hike and stay at altitude. When the stars light up you remain on the mountain and break bread with other enthusiasts before bedtime. During the days you need to exert yourself a bit extra but are rewarded with unforgettable experiences.
How trekking works
- Packing: On trips where the mountain huts can be reached by car, we transport your luggage for you, so you can walk with light day packing. In other cases, the trip starts and ends at a hotel where you can deposit larger luggage. Check what applies to your trip. In addition to basic hiking equipment, you need some supplementary equipment.
- Accommodation: The huts have simple standards but cozy atmosphere and you share multi-bed rooms with other mountain enthusiasts. We have also included trips of trekking character but with accommodation at inns or small hotels in nature - check the trip information.
- Meals: at the mountain huts, breakfast and dinner are included and lunch packages can be purchased for the day.
- Difficulty level: Day by day, trekking doesn't need to be tougher than regular hiking, but you hike several days in a row and don't always have the opportunity to break off or take a rest day. The level is therefore usually 4-5 out of 5.
