The sporty cyclist often chooses a light and fast road bike (road bike), but if the trip goes partly off paved roads or if you just want a slightly more robust road bike, a gravel bike is best suited. A gravel bike is similar to a road bike but has more substantial tires for better comfort and durability. This gives you the best conditions to enjoy real cycling both on asphalt and gravel roads.
