On this cycling trip in the spirit of great wines, you travel through Haut Medoc and Margaux before taking the boat across the Gironde estuary and continuing cycling on the other side in Haut Gironde. You cycle along the Route des Vins with some of the world's most famous wine châteaux, visit the Citadel of Blaye, stroll through charming towns and villages and discover the sunny slopes of Entre-Deux-Mers.
You finish in magnificent Bordeaux where you have the opportunity to extend your stay with additional days if you wish. The trip gives you wonderful cycling days in gentle terrain and a fine picture of Bordeaux's different wine districts, all equally famous.

Level and standard
Mostly easy cycling on quiet country roads and cycle paths. The St Emilion side is somewhat more hilly. Daily stages are usually between 35 and 55 km. Some days offer a choice between shorter and longer routes, so you can adjust the pace according to how you feel.
Accommodation
You can choose between Comfort 3-star hotels and Charm 3-4-star hotels. Breakfast is included every morning as well as a couple of dinners. Comfortable, well-maintained accommodations with a pleasant atmosphere provide a relaxing setting around the day's cycling.
