Welcome to an exceptionally relaxed and authentic corner of southern France, and a rarely enjoyable cycling experience. From the pink city of Toulouse, you follow in the footsteps of the famous French canal architect Paul Riquet. A well-marked trail takes you through rural Lauragais and the vineyards of Minervois. The ingeniously constructed and UNESCO-listed Canal du Midi guides you faithfully.
There's much to enjoy along the way: river barges, oval locks, old villages, gastronomic surprises and beautiful cities like Carcassonne. The journey has a beautiful ending at the azure Mediterranean, in charming Sète.

Cycle along Canal du MidiFun different experience. Good restaurants. Good bikes. Very good bike bags. NOTE: your recommendation to bring your own mobile holder for the handlebars was wrong. The rain-protected lid on the front bag was better!
