On this cycling trip you follow Canal de Garonne from Bordeaux on the Atlantic coast to the pink city of Toulouse. Canal de Garonne is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site and the cycling trip goes through flat landscape on cycle paths or smaller roads through varied countryside.
The canal, often shaded by plane trees, takes you through vineyards, lush forest areas, orchards as well as charming towns and villages with a wealth of beautiful monuments and historic buildings. The feeling of genuine France is especially present here in the southwest.
