Cycling in Bordeaux - Arcachon Bay

This cycling takes you southeast of the city of Bordeaux to the wine regions of Entre deux Mers and Sauternes with their world-famous sweet, white wines. You continue cycling through the pine forests of Gascony's nature park before reaching the sea and Arcachon Bay with its oysters and sand dunes.

Cycle on small roads and cycle paths through mostly flat terrain and stay at charming hotels and guesthouses in medieval towns like Cadillac and Saint-Macaire where some of the hotels have pools.

Once you reach the Atlantic, you have the opportunity to extend the trip with additional nights in Arcachon, making it an excellent option for those who want to combine cycling with vineyard visits and swimming during the summer.
