This cycling trip gives you an exquisite insight into the Médoc peninsula with all its wine history and culture. You start by cycling the wine route between the famous chateaux - Giscours, Margaux, Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild.
You also get the opportunity to discover other sides of Médoc and its varied landscape between the Gironde river and the Atlantic: historical sites, beautiful Romanesque churches, windmills and not least the Atlantic coast with its lovely beaches. French gastronomy adds extra spice to the trip with wine, oysters and other delicacies.

Cycle along the famous wine route with magnificent châteaux such as Château Margaux and Château Lafite Rothschild.
Discover the beautiful Romanesque church in Saint-Yzans with its impressive architecture.
Enjoy the scenic views of the Gironde river spreading out before you.

Program

5 Breakfasts and 2 Dinners included
Arrival at Bordeaux train station or airport and taxi transfer to Le Pian-Médoc (specify where and when you arrive when booking). You will settle into your first accommodation and receive your bicycle and roadbook that you will follow in the coming days.
Level and standard
Mostly easy cycling on quiet country roads or bike paths, with small elevation differences. Cycling length 40-60 km per day, with the possibility of shorter or longer alternatives on certain days. The tours allow for a harmonious pace that lets you focus on the experience.
You stay alternately at 3*** and 4**** hotels or equivalent guesthouses, selected for comfort and coziness. Some of them have a pool for pleasant relaxation after the day's cycling. Breakfast is included every day as well as some dinners, so you can relax and enjoy the trip.
