This trip offers cycling in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, from Trieste to Pula in southern Istria. Let yourself be enchanted by mythical cities with origins from antiquity and the Middle Ages, enjoy vast landscapes with wine and olive cultivation and explore the region's history, culture and gastronomy.
The journey begins with a night in Trieste before you cycle across the border to Slovenia and follow the coast southward towards Croatia, where you spend most of the week. Each day offers varied tours, sometimes somewhat more demanding, cycling through scenic surroundings where you can sometimes choose between a shorter and a longer route.
Overnight stays are at three-star guesthouses or hotels in places like Buje, Motovun, Porec and Rovinj, where after the day's cycling you can enjoy strolling through the alleys and tasting Croatian cuisine.
