There is something magical about Istria, Croatia's largest peninsula. This trip offers history and culture mixed with varied cycling through green forests, medieval towns, vineyards and olive groves.
The journey begins with three days in the Buje area in northwestern Istria, which you can most easily reach by car, bus or transfer from Pula Airport. Then you set off at your own pace towards Motovun, Porec and Rovinj, charming towns along Istria's western coast where you can explore winding alleys, experience fascinating cultural heritage and enjoy the region's specialties.
The hilly terrain provides fantastic views of both sea and land and makes the Italian-inspired Croatian cuisine taste even better after a day of cycling. The landscape consists of rivers, vineyards and forested hills not far from the coast and there are many opportunities to stop and taste local wines and olive oils.

You travel on your own to Buje. At 7:00 PM you meet our local representative in the hotel reception and receive everything needed for the week (bicycle, roadbook, maps and vouchers).

Level and standard
The cycling goes on good larger and smaller trails through varied, often rocky terrain with elements of vineyards. The pace is comfortable with shorter hills. The stretch from Buje to Motovun can feel more hilly, and some days offer alternatives with culture and taste experiences.

Choose between Comfort (3*) and Charm (4*) accommodations, where comfort and location meet local charm. Breakfast is included every day and provides a lovely start before cycling. Comfortable rooms and personal atmosphere create a relaxing base after the day's experiences.
