Discover Gran Paradiso, Italy's oldest national park and one of the Alps' most pristine mountain worlds. Here you hike between still lakes, blooming alpine meadows and glaciers that glitter in the distance. The journey takes you to two valleys in the Aosta Valley, Valgrisenche and Valsavarenche, where charming stone villages, fragrant larch forests and warm Italian hospitality meet high alpine views. You stay comfortably at family-owned hotels with half board, one of them with a Spa that warms after hiking. Every day new trails await – from gentle alpine slopes to more challenging ascents. With a bit of luck you'll be accompanied by ibex, marmots and eagles.
A trip for you who want to experience the really big mountains at your own pace, but still with everything arranged: comfortable hotels with half board, carefully planned trails, map, GPS tracks and digital hiking information directly in your mobile phone. Note that rental car is required for connection and transportation during the trip.
Summit tour: There is also the possibility to extend the trip with an ascent of Gran Paradiso itself, 4061 meters above sea level!
