The hikes go on mountain trails and forest paths, with character that varies between medium and more challenging. The elevation differences make some stages demanding. Some days offer optional alternatives - for example, round trip at Chiappera or Sentiero Frassati in shorter or longer variants.
Among the best things about Valle Maira are the charming guesthouses that are often built in restored alpine houses of stone and timber. Everything is very small-scale and the atmosphere is warm and personal. All accommodations have private bathrooms in the room. Breakfast and most lunch packages and dinners are included in the price - convenient, good and worry-free!
