Over seven days you hike from the barren high mountain world of Hardangervidda down through the legendary Aurlandsdalen and on to Sognefjorden – the king of fjords. Here await glaciers, mountain lakes, rushing rivers, green valleys and views that will make your camera work overtime. You stay at classic Norwegian mountain lodges with personal atmosphere and finish by the fjord in Flåm. With luggage transport included, you hike light and can focus on what's important: the trails, the views and the feeling of moving through one of Norway's most spectacular landscapes.

Dinner
The journey begins with one of Norway's great classics: the train journey on the Bergen Railway from Oslo to Finse. During the approximately four and a half hours, the landscape changes from green valleys to the vast high mountain world of Hardangervidda. Finse lies completely without road connection and feels like a small outpost in the middle of the mountains. From the station you walk about 700 meters to the mountain lodge where your adventure begins.
Level and accommodation
The hike mainly follows marked mountain trails through varied terrain. The surface is often rocky and uneven, with certain sections where streams and smaller watercourses are crossed. Daily stages are between 10 and 16 km long, with 3–8 hours of hiking. The trip suits you with normal to good fitness who are used to several consecutive hiking days.
Accommodation
Accommodation is mainly in traditional Norwegian mountain lodges with shared showers and toilets in the corridor. The rooms are simple but cozy and characterized by genuine mountain atmosphere. Single rooms cannot be guaranteed at Geiterygghytta. The last night you stay comfortably at a guesthouse by the fjord with private bathroom.
