This cycling trip gives you an exquisite insight into the Médoc peninsula with all its wine history and culture. You start by cycling the wine route between the famous châteaux - Giscours, Margaux, Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild.
You also get the opportunity to discover other sides of Médoc and its varied landscape between the Gironde river and the Atlantic: historic sites, beautiful Romanesque churches, windmills and not least the Atlantic coast with its lovely beaches. French gastronomy adds extra spice to the journey with wine, oysters and other delicacies.

Arrival at Bordeaux train station or airport and taxi transfer to Le Pian-Médoc (specify where and when you arrive when booking). You'll settle into your first accommodation and receive your bike and roadbook that you'll follow in the coming days.
Level and standard
Mostly easy cycling on quiet country roads or cycle paths, with small elevation differences. Cycling distance 40-60 km per day, with possibility of shorter or longer alternatives on certain days. The tours allow for a harmonious pace that lets you focus on the experience.
Accommodation
You stay alternately at 3*** and 4**** hotels or equivalent guesthouses, selected for comfort and coziness. Some of them have pools for lovely relaxation after the day's cycling. Breakfast is included every day as well as some dinners, so you can relax and enjoy the trip.
