This cycling trip takes you on an unforgettable round tour that begins and ends in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthplace Salzburg. You discover the picturesque regions of Salzkammergut, Chiemgau and Tyrol – all known for their lush green landscapes, blooming meadows, mirror-like lakes and the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
The route offers a perfect mix of flat sections and hilly terrain. Some challenging climbs between the Inn valley and Salzburg are rewarded with delightful descents and breathtaking views over valleys and mountains. You cycle mostly on paved cycle paths and quiet country roads with minimal traffic, making the experience both safe and enjoyable.

Visit the gentle shores of Chiemsee and take a boat to Herreninsel.

Accommodation in Salzburg
The route goes partly on flat terrain, but also in hilly terrain. Between the Inn valley and Salzburg you must manage some climbs, but you can also enjoy lovely downhill runs. You cycle mainly on cycle paths and lightly trafficked side roads. Some short sections occur.
You stay at 3*** hotels or equivalent guesthouses where breakfast is included every morning. All rooms have shower/toilet in the room. NOTE - For this trip it is not possible to confirm double rooms with separate beds. If you are interested in this we can put in a request
