Cycling in Salzkammergut - 10 Lakes

Moderately challenging for you who are an experienced cyclist. Along the lakes and the Salzach river the routes are flat, but between them hilly terrain awaits. About one third goes on cycle paths, the rest on smaller country roads, gravel roads and forest trails. Some shorter sections have more traffic.

You can choose between two accommodation standards: 
In Comfort you stay at modern boutique or design hotels, in many cases with spa and wellness facilities, stylish interior, garden or quiet outdoor areas, higher service level and often central but still with a feeling of exclusivity.
In Standard you get comfortable accommodation with all necessary amenities — clean, spacious rooms, breakfast buffet, WiFi — but often without the extra luxury facilities. It's practical, pleasant and functional for travelers who prioritize the experience outside rather than sophisticated hotel surroundings.
