The Danube is perfectly suited for a bike trip – and here you also avoid packing your bag every morning. Cruise along the river with a comfortable river ship as your floating hotel and hop on the bike when the day's finest stretches await. From Passau the journey goes through four countries with stops in Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna. In between you cycle through the Wachau wine landscape, the Danube's great river bend at Schlögen and the Hungarian Danube Bend. The cycling is easy, mostly flat, and done independently with a tour guide on board. When your legs have done their part for the day, dinner on board and new views from the sun deck await. A comfortable and unbeatable way to experience Central Europe.

Welcome to Passau, the Bavarian city where the Danube, Inn and Ilz meet. Feel free to arrive in good time for a walk through the old town and a visit to St. Stephen's Cathedral, known for its massive church organ. Boarding the ship takes place from 16:00, and in the evening the ship leaves the quay while you can unpack your bag in the cabin for the whole week. The captain welcomes you aboard and the first dinner is served while your floating hotel glides towards Engelhartszell.
An easy bike trip through flat or gently rolling landscapes along the Danube. The cycling days average about 45 km with few elevation meters. Through Austria you follow the fine Donau Radweg, a proper cycling route along the river. In Hungary and Slovakia you cycle more on small country roads. The trip suits you if you have basic fitness and want plenty of time for the surroundings. It's easy to skip a stage by staying on board if you wish.
MS Manon is a stately river cruiser with fresh cabins and very nice common areas. On board there is a panorama restaurant, lounge, library, sauna, jacuzzi and sun deck as well as an outdoor pool (open May-August depending on weather). The cabins are about 14 m² and are all outside cabins. They have a private bathroom, air conditioning and real hotel beds. On the upper deck you get a French balcony, on the middle deck panorama windows that can be opened, and on the lower deck windows that cannot be opened.
