Join a self-guided walking trip through some of the world's most famous wine districts – St Émilion and Sauternes – and let yourself be enchanted by the rolling landscape. Explore the charming Entre-Deux-Mers and its well-preserved historic villages, as you walk through vineyards, forests and along riverbeds and small country roads. Along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to stop at wine châteaux and estates to enjoy local tastings and experience the culture of wine up close.

You get taxi transfer from Bordeaux airport or train station (specify in the booking which one) to your first hotel in Saint Emilion.
Level and standard
The walks follow good trails through varied, sometimes rocky terrain. The stages are between 10-15 km per day of easy to medium character, with small differences in elevation. Some days have shorter or longer alternatives, and the loop through St Emilion's vineyards may feel somewhat more challenging.
You can choose between Comfort (3*) and Charm (3*+ to 4*). Regardless of standard, you can expect accommodation with character, warm hospitality and the opportunity for several well-prepared dinners including wine. Breakfast is included every day.

Wine Hiking in BordeauxVery good. We are satisfied. Bordeaux was a positive surprise. Beautiful and varied nature on the hike. Hotels and transfers (with the exception of transportation from the airport to the hotel in Bordeaux) worked perfectly and on schedule. We had enormous luck with the weather, we were there between two heat waves of around 40 degrees C.
