Hiking around Bordeaux with the Flower Route

This hiking trip takes you through the heart of Gironde – where the Dordogne and Garonne meet before flowing into the Atlantic and forming Europe's largest river delta. Here you hike on forest paths, small roads and winding trails through the varied landscape of the Médoc peninsula.

After a boat trip across the Gironde, the journey continues from Blaye along the flower-decorated "Corniche Fleurie" to Bourg-sur-Gironde. Along the way you'll encounter famous wine châteaux such as Giscours, Margaux, Lafite Rothschild, Latour and Mouton Rothschild – some of the world's most legendary names.
