Portugal's northern part constitutes the country's origin. We start in Porto, known as "the unconquerable city", and travel through a region rich in traditions. Explore the narrow, medieval streets of this beautiful city to get to know the famous port wines: Tawny, Ruby, LBV, Vintage, Colheitas and more. The journey upstream by train or boat along the Douro is then like a sweet journey through time. Along the way, a magnificent landscape opens up, transformed by human hands into terraced cultivation and slate stone walls, reflecting the soul of this unique area.
The longer program includes Foz Cõa, Europe's most extensive rock art site, where the slate stone's panels are decorated in an untamed naturally beautiful landscape.
