This trip is a fantastic hiking tour that starts in Lisbon and takes you along Portugal's southwest coast. The journey involves visits to several charming coastal towns, such as Vila Nova de Milfontes, Zambujeira do Mar and Odeceixe, with their white houses and fantastic beaches.
The hikes lead through varied landscapes, from idyllic coastal cliffs and lush forests to historic lighthouses and small fishing harbors. You'll experience cultural and scenic highlights, including crossing the Mira river by traditional boat, exploring Cap Sardão lighthouse, and hiking through picturesque villages. The atmosphere in the small towns is relaxed and a popular destination for surfers, hikers and backpackers.

Moderate hikes between 3 to 5 hours and an average elevation difference of 200 to 400 meters per hike. The pace is comfortable with steady rhythm. Some slightly longer stages may feel more demanding, but overall it suits hikers with normal basic fitness. High-top boots are recommended to prevent sand from getting in.
You stay at hotels and guesthouses with 3*** standard. Breakfast is included every day, so you can start the hikes with energy. Well-maintained rooms and friendly hospitality provide a relaxing end after the day's stage.
