Discover the island's many natural experiences on foot along the famous levadas and coastal paths with panoramic views over the Atlantic. Along the way, you pass traditional villages, terraced cultivations, colorful floral splendor, deep ravines, the UNESCO-protected Laurissilva forest, waterfalls and natural sea pools. Madeira is an island that constantly surprises – and is best experienced in hiking boots.

Upon arrival in Madeira, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your first accommodation.
Standard: Accommodation in the charming coastal town of Machico, the island's first settlement and former capital. Here you can stroll along the waterfront promenade, enjoy the sea views and soak in the relaxed atmosphere.
Comfort: Transfer to the small coastal town of Santa Cruz where you check into a comfortable 4-star hotel with pool.
Level and standard
Moderate hikes: between 3 - 4 hours of hiking and an average ascent/descent of 90 to 840 meters per hike. The daily stages vary in pace, with tours at São Lourenço, Ribeiro Frio, Boca do Risco, Caldeiro Verde and Pico Ruivo. A free day in Funchal allows for recovery.
Accommodation
You can choose between two different accommodation options, Standard or Comfort. Breakfast is included every day. Standard: Accommodation at hotels or B&Bs with 2-3* standard. Comfort: Accommodation at hotels with 4* standard, for extra comfort after the day's adventures.
