Walk between the most beautiful villages in the Northern Cotswolds and discover with your own eyes why this is classified as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The walk takes you through a pastoral rolling landscape with grazing sheep, horses and cows.
You pause and stay in honey-colored villages of varying sizes and have the opportunity to experience the cozy atmosphere of the English countryside with local pubs, tea rooms, beautiful gardens and historic landmarks. The walk begins in Moreton-in-Marsh, a market town with good connections from London (about 1 1/2 hours by train). From Moreton, the walk goes in a circle past gems like Bourton-on-the-Water, Winchcombe, Stanton, Broadway and Chipping Campden before you return to Moreton.

The walks vary in length between 8 and 21 km and the terrain is well-marked and easy to walk. They follow fine paths, open meadows and sometimes minor roads. Several stages offer a choice between longer and shorter routes. The longer days can also be shortened with local bus or taxi, so you can adjust the pace according to how you feel on the day.
