Walking around Jersey

Jersey lies in the English Channel where British and French meet in a unique mix, with a sunny climate where many exotic plants thrive. The alternately rocky, alternately sandy coast is broken by picturesque fishing villages where the day's catch consists of lobster and oysters. What could be better than experiencing all this on foot, on a hike around the entire Jersey Coastal Path of 77 kilometers?

Here you walk sometimes high up on barren cliffs with the Atlantic roaring below, only to kick off your shoes the next moment on a vast golden sandy beach. For an island that only measures five by nine kilometers, Jersey contains surprisingly many highlights – like the famous castle Mont Orgueil and the solitary Seymour Tower. Jersey's sounds are constantly present: foaming waves, laughing gulls and foaming beer at a pub afterwards.
