Hiking in the North Cotswolds

Walk between the most beautiful villages in the North Cotswolds and discover with your own eyes why this is classed as an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The walk takes you through a rolling pastoral landscape with grazing sheep, horses and cows. Unlike the long-distance path The Cotswold Way, this tour runs in a circle from Moreton-in-Marsh past gems such as Bourton-on-the-Water, Winchcombe, Stanton, Broadway and Chipping Campden before returning to Moreton. Here the focus is on easier walking, cosy villages and pub culture.

You stop and stay in honey-coloured villages of varying sizes and have the chance to experience the cosy atmosphere of the English countryside with local pubs, tea rooms, beautiful gardens and historic landmarks. The walk begins in Moreton-in-Marsh, a market town with good connections from London (about 1 1/2 hours by train).
