One of the best parts of the South West Coast Path along Cornwall's coast runs between the fishing villages of Padstow and St Ives. Enjoy freshly caught fish and beautiful views along this fine hiking route as well as the scent of Atlantic waves crashing against cliffs and hidden coves and caves. Here you will also find beautiful flora and fauna and some of Britain's absolutely best beaches.
Golden beaches, picturesque fishing villages, wild seas and secluded coves are all features of this wonderful hiking week. As you walk southward you will discover estuaries full of fauna and flora, some of Britain's best beaches and you will enjoy every overnight stay, which are all highlights.

Level and standard
The hikes are of medium to lightly challenging character along well-marked trails. The cliff coast offers steeper sections up and down, and the daily stages vary in length. Good basic fitness and experience with hilly terrain makes the trip extra enjoyable.
Accommodation
You stay at hotels or equivalent guesthouses or B&Bs with 3-4* standard. They are run by hiker-friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast is included every day. Packed lunches can be booked and paid for upon arrival and offer a good selection of sandwiches, snacks and drinks to take with you.
On a few sections you will also pass a café and/or shop but many days you will not pass anything between start and finish. When it comes to dinner you will have a number of nice pubs and restaurants to choose from, or your accommodation will serve a nice dinner.
