The stretch between St Ives and Penzance is the most remote part of the South West Coast Path, so prepare for an exciting hike along a trail that follows the coastline down to Lands End, the westernmost point in Britain.
The beauty of the landscape is unbeatable with wind-swept heaths, fantastic views, cliff tops with wild flowers and a turquoise sea with golden sandy beaches. Throughout the hike you'll also enjoy rich birdlife, the sound of waves lapping against the cliffs and if you're lucky you might spot dolphins in the sea.
You start in the bustling fishing village of St Ives with its picturesque harbour and narrow lanes and then follow the beautiful coastline south past St Just, the westernmost town in the kingdom, all the way out to Cape Cornwall. From there the tour goes to the fishing village of Sennan Cove and to Porthcurno with its spectacular open-air theatre located on a cliff right by the sea. The final destination is the lively town of Penzance.

A wonderful hike with sometimes very challenging sections with climbing over large boulders. At times the trail went a few meters from cliffs straight down into the sea.
