You start at the port of Armadale, near Ardvasar, on the peninsula called Sleat which offers the best views towards the Black Cuillin. From Broadford you then continue to dig deeper into Skye's unique atmosphere and landscape.
Peaceful paths through abandoned villages, a boat trip to Loch Coruisk and then an unforgettable hike through the heart of the Cuillins to the famous Sligachan Hotel. You finish with two days of hiking along the spectacular coastline of the Trotternish peninsula. A wonderful conclusion to an exciting week of hiking.

Arrival in Ardvasar and check-in at your hotel. The best way to arrive at Isle of Skye is by ferry from Mallaig which you reach by train from Glasgow.

Level and standard
The route is strenuous, with remote terrain and days with significant ascents and descents. Parts follow good paths and minor roads, but much goes over uneven ground that can be wet. One day offers a choice - rest day or shorter hike at Old Man of Storr.
Accommodation
Charming Bed & Breakfasts, Guesthouses and smaller Hotels suitable for hikers. A hearty breakfast is served every morning. Packed lunches can usually be ordered from the accommodation and dinner can be eaten at nearby pubs or restaurants after the day's hike.
