This hike is of moderate difficulty with stages of approximately 15-24 km. The terrain is varied and follows well-maintained footpaths, bridleways and across fields, but generally follows General Wade's Roads. The final stretch to Fort William is often experienced as the most demanding.
Charming Bed & Breakfast, guesthouses and smaller hotels. A hearty breakfast is served every morning as a good start to the day. Packed lunches can usually be ordered, and in the evening nearby pubs or restaurants await for a well-deserved meal and relaxing atmosphere.
