A few kilometers from Bridge of Orchy begins a fantastic section of the West Highland Way. Walk around Loch Tulla and continue across Rannoch Moor, a wonderfully peaceful place which was once covered by glacial ice, today covered with moss. Once you reach Kingshouse you have a beautiful view of Scotland's most photographed mountain, Buachaille Etive Mor.

From Kingshouse you follow an old military road to Altnafeadh where you have magnificent views over the famous "weeping glen" and the site of the Glencoe massacre of 1692. Then make your way up to the "Devils Staircase", the highest point along the trail which in fine weather provides good views towards Ben Nevis. Then walk along winding roads down to the beautiful little town of Kinlochleven.

The steep climb out of Kinlochleven rewards you with fantastic views. Once you have passed the summit you follow a remote, beautiful valley towards Fort William. About halfway you come to beautiful woodland that takes you into Glen Nevis with views towards Britain's highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Keep to the left and make your way all the way into Fort William where this fantastic hiking adventure ends.
