You quickly leave Ardvasar behind as you climb up the green slopes towards the nearly abandoned west coast of the Sleat peninsula. Continue along the coastal path to picturesque Tarskavaig from where you have spectacular views over the Cuillins. Continue to Achnacloich where you will be picked up and driven to Broadford.

You start in the small village of Torrin and hike on fine trails surrounded by a dramatic coastline.
From the cliff heights you have a magical view over Cuillin Ridge which spreads out over open sea through an impressive mountain ridge. You make your way across the moorland to abandoned crofting communities, towards cozy beaches and swirling waterfalls. The path leads north again, towards Broadford where the road leads up towards a moorland plateau, further through a nature-protected forest area and an abandoned marble quarry.

The day starts with a taxi transfer from Broadford to Kilmarie and from there you hike through the moorland to the peaceful bays of Camasunary. Hike at your own pace between Bla Bheinn and Cuillin, via fine mountain landscapes towards Sligachan, among the most beautiful hiking trails in Scotland.

Today you can carefree hike on a good trail along Loch Sligachan to Braes and enjoy the dramatic views towards Raasay. From Braes you follow a smaller road until you reach Varragil where you again come upon a good trail that also provides the opportunity to experience the rich bird life on the island. Finally you reach Portree where you will have your base for the last three nights.

Morning transfer to The Storr Loch Dam where the trail initially follows the coastline and continues all the way to the charming town of Portree. You start near Bearreraig and hike through the moorland, further along this coastal path lined with cliffs. The path climbs higher and higher and soon rewards you with wonderful views from the mountain ridge's finest viewpoint, Sithean Bhelaich Chumhaing. From here the trail leads downward and into Portree Bay, via the moorland. You follow the forest trail near the sea and finally reach the town of Portree.

Today you have the opportunity to relax in Portree, rent a car or take a round trip (not included, purchased on site) to other parts of the island. A popular hiking alternative is to take the local bus to the Old Man of Storr and from there do a circular hike of 8 km (approx. 3-5 h) before taking the local bus (approx. 20min) back again.
