Let your gaze rest in the distance and enjoy the beauty and silence of the landscape. During this hiking trip you can experience extraordinary customs, music and dance. A special gem is Tauplitzalm, lovingly called 'the Alm' by the local population - the largest lake plateau in central Europe, in the Totes Gebirge mountain range. This place is strikingly beautiful and a hidden pearl in the geographical center of Austria.

The hike is not technically challenging, but good basic fitness is beneficial to enjoy the trip. Daily stages average 17 km and take about 5 hours on well-marked trails. One day involves clearer ascent, some offer longer descents, and an optional circular route provides flexibility.

You stay at cozy hotels with 3-star standard, perfect for relaxing after the day's hike. Breakfast is included every morning and dinner is included for 2 days. If you wish for a double room with separate beds, we are happy to forward the request, but cannot guarantee it.
