An exceptional nature experience awaits during our hiking vacation along the Lechweg trail. For approximately 125 km you follow the glittering river Lech. From its source near lake Formarinsee, located in the town of Lech am Arlberg, onwards through one of Europe's last wild river landscapes, and all the way to the waterfall Lechfall in Füssen in the Bavarian Allgäu region.
Along the way you not only discover the untamed and rugged beauty of these alpine regions, you also hike through an area where one of Europe's largest populations of alpine ibex live. You then cross the spectacular suspension bridge and marvel at the magnificent King Ludwig's palace.

Level and standard
You hike on easy and well-maintained hiking trails, forest paths and partly also on gravel roads. Good basic fitness is required for all daily tours. You always have the option to shorten longer tours by taking the bus, and some stages offer alternative routes.
Accommodation
You stay in cozy hotels with 3-star standard where breakfast is included every morning. If you wish a double room with separate beds, we can put in a request to the hotel, but this is not something we can guarantee at booking.
