The landscape of Carinthia in southern Austria represents a relaxed way of living, together with an exquisite sense of enjoyment. This hike starts in Villach, the gateway to Carinthia's lake paradise. Discover the villas by Lake Wörthersee and the magnificent palace as you hike along Lake Veldensjön. Always accompanied by panoramic views over the Villach Alps, followed by one lake highlight after another: fantastic trails along Lake Millstätter See, serpentine paths along Lake Brennsee and comfortable trails along Lake Ossiacher See.
It's not just the glittering lakes, but also the high mountain peaks waiting to be discovered. The view from the so-called Star Balcony located high above Lake Millstätter See, and the Juwelenweg trail through Nockbergen are just some of the fantastic walking highlights.

The hikes follow varying trails and paths, with daily stages of around 5 hours. The pace is comfortable and experience-focused, often with the possibility to choose easier or more challenging alternatives. Around Döbriach awaits a stage with more ascent that may feel somewhat more demanding.

You stay at cozy 3-4 star hotels where breakfast is included every morning. Here awaits a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable rooms that provide energy after the day's hike. If you wish for a double room with separate beds, we can convey the request to the hotel, but it cannot be guaranteed at booking.
