From the tranquil Lake Ohrid to Albania's Riviera, you cycle through rural villages and several UNESCO World Heritage sites. Along the way you're just as likely to meet horse and cart as cars. Charming Korça, the Gramoz mountains and the peaceful Shelegur forest are on the program. Further along the Vjosa river to fascinating Gjirokastër with its impressive fortress and lively bazaar. After arrival in Tirana, you travel about two hours to Pogradec by Lake Ohrid, the first of several UNESCO World Heritage sites on the trip. Here you get a personal briefing of the journey and familiarize yourself with your bike. Our representative goes through all the details so that you get the most out of your cycling trip in Albania. They are happy to give their best tips for a good first dinner consisting of Albania's fine ingredients.
Level and standard
The bike tours offer significant elevation differences but become just right for most people thanks to the e-bike. It also has a low step-through frame. The strong cyclist can also choose a hybrid bike or road bike with drop handlebars instead. The modern high-quality bikes from Trek or Giant are equipped with repair kit, bike bag, phone holder and charger (e-bike).
A mix of 3- and 4-star hotels. The hotels in the program are those we normally use but equivalent or better alternatives may occur.
