Arrival in Beaune, Burgundy's unmistakable wine capital. If you have some time to spare, you can take the opportunity to visit the city's artistic and historical heritage such as the impressive Hospices de Beaune.

This is easy cycling in mostly flat and gently rolling terrain, where shorter hills alternate with pleasant descents. You mainly follow smaller, paved country roads with little traffic and can maintain a comfortable pace through vineyards, fields and rolling hills.
