This is a trip for the connoisseur, offering rolling landscapes, impressive wine houses and the world's most thirst-quenching After Bike in Champagne. The trip starts and ends in the food city of Reims (there is also a shorter program from the wine village of Epernay). The city's rich heritage dates back to Roman times, and UNESCO has of course taken note of it too, but perhaps most interesting for us thirsty cyclists are the unique wine cellars that house millions of bottles underground!
During the week you explore the landscape and its treasures at your own pace, visit quintessentially French small villages and let yourself indulge in the local delicacies. Epernay, Champagne's unofficial capital, is a perfect starting point for cycling tours in the Marne Valley and Côte des Blancs.

You travel on your own to the hotel in Reims, France's twelfth largest city and one of its premier food destinations, where check-in takes place during the afternoon. From the hotel reception you receive an information package with everything you need to enjoy the trip: roadbook, maps, destination information and detailed instructions. Take the opportunity to stroll through the city and visit the Gothic cathedral, one of France's largest, and taste some typical delicacies from the area: dried pears, pink biscuits and of course your first Champagne.
Level and standard
Varied cycling of 30-60 km per day where you experience Champagne's rolling wine landscape from the saddle. The stages require experience and stamina on hilly terrain, but an e-bike can be selected as an option.
A mix of 3* & 4* hotels and equivalent guesthouses. Accommodations with character and a cozy feel where you can relax after the day's cycling, and wake up to several well-prepared breakfasts that give a pleasant start to the next stage in Champagne.
