The elegant Loire River, which connects the heart of France with the Atlantic, is perfect for relaxed cycling. The river valley was once the playground of kings with impressive castles such as Amboise, Chenonceau, Chambord and Blois. Pedal at a leisurely pace and also discover the lesser-known gems as you make your way through "France's garden". The name comes not only from the beautiful castle gardens but also from all the good things grown here: cherries, apples, pears, melons, asparagus and artichokes - and not least grapes that become the region's delicious wines.
During the last cycling day you have the opportunity to explore the famous and magnificently furnished Château Cheverny before reaching the prestigious Château de Chambord with its 440 rooms, built during François I's reign. A fairy-tale end to a memorable cycling trip!

Visit the impressive Château de Blois, where French history comes to life.
Cycle through Amboise and enjoy the fantastic view over the Loire River.

A very pleasant trip even though the castles and vineyards were not as easily accessible as we perhaps thought from the beginning.
