A short transfer (20 minutes) takes you to Marloes, a hidden gem located on the western part of the Pembrokeshire peninsula. It is a popular holiday destination with beautiful beaches, bird reserves and wildlife.
Accommodation in Marloes
This is a moderate to demanding hiking trip that suits you with good basic fitness and some previous hiking experience. The terrain varies between path, grass, cliffs and beach, often with short but steep elevation changes. The stages are relatively long and the hilly coastal terrain makes the hiking more strenuous than the numbers sometimes suggest, especially in the northern parts. Length and elevation differences are indicated in the daily programs. The hike rewards you who are used to full days on foot and enjoy coastal environments with changing weather.
Charming B&Bs, guesthouses and country inns of 3-4-star standard with comfortable rooms and personal service. A hearty breakfast is served every morning. Packed lunches can usually be ordered from the hosts, and in the evenings pleasant pubs or restaurants await nearby. Along the route there are cafés, pubs and restaurants, but some stretches are sparsely populated so follow the instructions in the Roadbook.

May is a wonderful time for hiking when the blooming and birdsong are delightful and it's just the right temperature. The trails are excellently marked with clear acorn signs and alternate between following the sea and passing through meadows, farmland, groves and villages. For us it was perfectly sized daily stages and then lovely rest at nice guesthouses where we went through the day's stage and planned for tomorrow.
