In the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, one of Italy's most characteristic cultural landscapes spreads out. Here, at the foot of the Dolomites in Venice's fertile hinterland, you hike through a rolling mosaic of terraced vineyards, groves and small historic villages. The area is listed on UNESCO's World Heritage List and known for its production of the favorite sparkling wine Prosecco Superiore DOCG. During the hiking days you follow trails along ridges with wide views, pass small villages, drop in for a glass at family-run vineyards and discover sights such as the water mill Molinetto della Croda and the dramatic caves in Caglieron. Welcome to a journey where nature, culture and food meet, and where each day offers new views over charming Italian landscapes.

You arrive in Vittorio Veneto at the foot of the Dolomites in northern Italy. The city is known for the decisive battle of World War I but also for its charming historic city center. It consists of two districts: Serravalle and Ceneda, both with cobblestone streets, medieval buildings and lively piazzas where you can enjoy watching the local life with a Spritz in front of you. Take a walk among Gothic palaces in Serravalle or visit the cathedral in Ceneda. The area is surrounded by vineyards and forms the gateway to the Prosecco hills.
A moderately strenuous hiking trip in hilly terrain through vineyards and countryside. The hiking is mainly on trails, gravel roads and old mule tracks. The surface can be uneven and sometimes muddy after rain. The length and elevation of the stages are indicated in the daily program.
You stay at selected small hotels as well as charming agriturismi (farms) and inns in villages and in the countryside. In the larger towns, 3- and sometimes 4-star hotels are used. The rooms have private bathrooms and every morning an Italian breakfast is served.
