Welcome to a sparkling long weekend in beautiful Champagne, with lovely hikes and unbeatable After Walk at one of the Champagne bars. You stay at a charming little place in the wine village of Épernay right among the vineyards, and take beautiful hikes over steep vineyards and through cool deciduous forests. Feel free to add one or two visits to Champagne houses - large and famous or small and family-run. When evening approaches, restaurants open their doors for culinary delights and more good wine (of any color). A perfectly luxurious hiking weekend, just for life enthusiasts!

Welcome to Épernay, the wine capital of the Champagne region. After check-in, you have time to stroll around the town and discover the famous Avenue de Champagne with its impressive Champagne houses. Magnificent Moët, hospitable Mercier, family-friendly Boizel and Winston Churchill's favorite Pol Roger, to name just a few. Wonder what tonight's aperitif will be? End the evening with dinner at one of the town's many pleasant restaurants, where French culinary culture reigns supreme.
Level & standard
Moderately demanding hiking for you with normal fitness. The terrain is mixed trails, gravel and asphalt, without technical difficulties.
Accommodation
Charming B&B or mid-class hotel in the center of the village. Breakfast is included every morning. Other meals are not included but there are plenty of good restaurants in the village and you can also pre-book half board (3 dinners).
