On this hiking trip you get to experience Corsica's variation with somewhat easier hikes and only one hotel change during the trip. We have selected some of the island's finest hikes with moderate difficulty, both in the mountains and along the sea, so that you have time to enjoy contrasts, scents and views. You stay first in the former capital Corte in the island's mountainous heart and then in cozy Calvi on the coast. Add Corsican food and wine, varied terrain and a lovely Mediterranean climate, and you have a hiking trip that feels both wild and comfortable at the same time.

You arrive independently to Corte, beautifully situated between several valleys and crowned by its citadel. The town has long been a cultural and political heart of Corsica and is still today strongly associated with the island's language and identity. Take a first stroll through the alleys and feel how the mountain atmosphere sets the tone for the first part of the journey.

Moderate hiking for you who enjoy regular exercise and day tours. Most hikes take 4-5 hours. The terrain varies and can be rocky, especially in the mountains, so sturdy hiking boots or shoes are recommended. The ascents are moderate considering Corsica's hilly terrain.
You stay three nights in Corte and three nights in Calvi, at three-star hotels with good standards, which provides a lovely combination of city atmosphere, culture and easily accessible trails. In Calvi you also have close access to swimming, beach promenades and nightlife, while Corte offers a more alpine-influenced atmosphere.
