Along coastal paths and through remote Mediterranean wilderness before heading south to the lively coastal town of Saint Florent. Off the main roads, Cap Corse is a real undiscovered gem, and now also a marine national park, it enchants visitors with timeless landscapes and will surely inspire you.

You arrive in Bastia and then make your way to Maccinaggio by taxi or bus (not included). Once there, you settle into your hotel. Maccinaggio is a charming harbor north of Bastia, with its Genoese watchtower. Take it easy by the hotel pool or take the historic path to discover the village, before heading out for dinner at one of the lovely restaurants in this sleepy coastal town.

The hikes follow good trails and paths in varied, often rocky terrain. The stages are reasonably long with steady pace, but some sections offer longer ascents and descents. Some hiking experience and confidence on rocky ground makes the experience even more enjoyable.

A mix of 2**- and 3***-hotels as well as corresponding guesthouses with good comfort. The accommodation has genuine Corsican character and attention to detail. Breakfast is included every day and several very well-prepared three-course dinners are served at the hotels or nearby restaurants.
