Along this part of the French Riviera awaits a landscape that will take your breath away. Chalk-white limestone cliffs plunge straight down into the turquoise blue Mediterranean and form small, secret coves – the famous Calanques.
During the trip you hike between Marseille and Cassis, the charming little coastal town with pastel-colored houses, an idyllic harbor and winding alleys filled with small shops and restaurants. Here it's almost a must to sit down by the harbor and enjoy freshly caught fish straight from the sea.
The dramatic landscape has for generations inspired artists like Paul Cézanne, and one of the hiking highlights is the ascent of Mount Sainte-Victoire. At the top awaits a view that can stretch from the Mediterranean's deep blue horizon to the snow-capped peaks of the Alps in the distance.

Discover the beautiful and dramatic cliffs of Les Calanques near Marseille.
Enjoy a relaxing day on the picturesque beach in Cassis.
