On this trip you hike freely through the scenic regional park Ballons des Vosges. Along the way you encounter vast vineyards, magnificent mountain landscapes and panoramic views over the Alsace plain and the Black Forest. You also pass impressive sandstone castles with centuries of history that tell of the region's rich heritage.

The hikes are mostly easy and go between the villages. The pace is comfortable and the terrain varies gently, but one of the days is both longer and more hilly and may feel more challenging. In total, the tour covers approximately 84 km.
Accommodation
You stay at three-star hotels where breakfast is included every morning. Other meals are not included, but there are plenty of restaurants etc. along the way and in the evenings. The accommodation is comfortable and practical for hiking, with pleasant relaxation after the day's stages.
