And don't miss tasting the world-famous wines Brunello di Montalcino and Vino Nobile de Montepulciano while you're here - perfect matches for the hearty and flavorful Tuscan food.

Upon arrival to the charming medieval town of Buonconvento you will be met by a driver and taken to the agriturismo where you will stay for the next three days. The bikes are available on site and you can enjoy a delicious Tuscan dinner "à la carte" in the evening if desired, as a lovely introduction to the cycling adventure.

Level and standard
The daily stages are not too long and of medium difficulty in hilly terrain. Some cycling experience and reasonably good fitness are required to enjoy the trip. There is little shade along the roads, which can make it hot, especially in the middle of summer. The Montalcino loop can feel tougher, but a shorter variant is available.
In Buonconvento you stay at an organic agriturismo that produces its own olive oil and other agricultural products. Here you'll find a large outdoor pool and an indoor pool adjoining a spa with treatment options. In Pienza you stay at a small and comfortable place.
