Experience the best of Provence – from historic Avignon to the charming city of Arles, through rolling olive groves, sun-warmed vineyards and the white horses of Camargue. This is an easy-cycling and varied tour where you get to experience the region's rich cultural heritage, art and nature – in the footsteps of both the Romans and Van Gogh. The tour suits those who want to cycle at a leisurely pace and experience Provence in its most genuine form. The route offers shorter climbs at the beginning and flat roads through Camargue's open landscape towards the end.
You stay comfortably at charming hotels with the option to choose between different standard levels – or treat yourself to the Spa & Wellness version, with relaxing unwinding after the day's stage.

The daily stages are between 35 and 50 kilometers, which gives plenty of time for breaks, sights and cozy lunch stops along the way. The terrain is mostly flat, with some short and gentle climbs at the beginning of the week when the route winds through the beautiful Alpilles. During the last days, especially in Camargue, completely flat roads await that run between rice fields, vineyards and salt marshes. The roads mostly follow quiet country roads and cycle-friendly stretches with low traffic.
You stay at carefully selected hotels with personal character – from central Avignon to charming villages in Provence and the historic city of Arles.
