Seventy peaks over 2000 meters, the southernmost fjord in the Mediterranean and the deepest canyon in Europe. Everything is located in Montenegro, a country that is about the same size as Skåne. You drive on roads surrounded by mighty mountain peaks or through the deepest canyon in Europe, follow the shore along Lake Skadar until you finally reach the magically beautiful Bay of Kotor.
Montenegro has been squeezed between east and west since the days of the Roman Empire and has been influenced by different cultures over the past 2000 years. The food offers the best of Balkan cuisine with dishes like Ćevapčici and fresh fish and seafood combined with powerful local wines.
This cycling trip takes you on quiet side roads to the scenic and cultural highlights of Montenegro in Durmitor National Park, Tara Canyon National Park, Skadar Lake and the Bay of Kotor.

Level and standard
Suitable for you with good fitness and experience of longer, hilly tours. Gravel sections may occur. The difficulty varies, with longer and sometimes steeper climbs especially at Tara Canyon and Lovcen - Kotor, while a shorter variant is offered on day 4.
Accommodation in 3*** hotels or equivalent guesthouses, where breakfast is included every day. A comfortable base that lets you focus on the experiences, recover after the day's cycling and start the morning with energy for the next stage.
