On Sardinia's southwestern coast you'll encounter Costa Verde – the green coast, where wild cliffs, sand dunes and sea stretch as far as the eye can see. Here you hike through a landscape shaped by both nature and humans, from Buggerru's tunnels to Piscinas' endless sand dunes and the panoramic views at Capo Pecora.
The journey also offers encounters with local culture. You'll taste Carignano del Sulcis, the wine that has grown on vines crouching against the wind, and stay at small family-owned accommodations where you enjoy traditional meals and genuine encounters.
This is a hike off the beaten path – where Sardinia shows its most unvarnished side with dramatic nature, living history and a warmth that stays with you long after the journey home.

Experience the wild coast in Buggerru with fantastic sea views.
Hike through the historic village of Ingurtosu and discover its mining heritage.
Enjoy the pristine beaches at Scivu, known for their natural beauty.
Visit Capo Pecora and experience dramatic cliffs and Mediterranean landscapes.
Explore the charming island of Carloforte with its colorful houses and local delicacies.
The hikes are of moderate character with clear uphill and downhill sections. The terrain varies between coastal paths, sandy beaches and gravel roads, sometimes a bit rocky and exposed. Some days may feel longer. The hike on day 5 has exposed sections and is not recommended for people with vertigo.
You stay in comfortable accommodations, two agriturismo and one hotel, with warm Sardinian hospitality and local character. The location provides a relaxing atmosphere after the day's stage and a genuine feeling of the countryside and coast. Breakfast is included every morning.
