This hiking trip can be described as the classic tour along the coast where you get to experience the famous villages and the most beautiful hikes in the area. You have time to visit all the villages, besides the main town Amalfi also well-preserved Atrani, Ravello with its beautiful villas, peaceful Praiano and fashionable Positano.
You hike along well-preserved hiking trails through an outstandingly beautiful landscape with terraced lemon groves, vineyards and olive plantations. You also pass rural little chapels, old farms and water mills and further small villages where you can sit down for something to eat or drink. This is how travelling should be!

Level and standard
The hikes are of easy to medium character. Trails and paths are mostly well maintained, but there are some rocky sections. The Amalfi Coast's beautifully steep landscape means you walk on many stone staircases. Some paths are less well marked - follow descriptions and maps. Some stages offer alternative routes with a somewhat higher challenge.
You stay at charming 3*** hotels with good standard and location, perfect as a starting point for the hikes. Breakfast is included every morning for a good start. A pleasant environment and comfort provide nice recovery after the day's experiences.
