The Amalfi Coast is probably Italy's most beautiful coastline with a fantastic combination of sea, picturesque coastal towns and mountains. This is also a fantastic area to discover on foot with countless hiking trails such as the famous "Sentiero degli Dei" (Path of the Gods). Here you will experience a varied landscape with a somewhat magical combination of sea, mountains and fantastic views, interspersed with small villages, vineyards and olive groves.
The coastal hikes go to the villages of Amalfi, Atrani, Ravello, Praiano and of course the vertical Positano. You will also hike through mountain landscapes, chestnut forests and terraced lemon groves and vineyards.
On this trip there is the possibility to add an extra day to hike to the top of Vesuvius and explore Pompeii.

Arrival to Salerno on your own. Your hotel is just a short walk away. After settling in at your hotel, you can take time to discover the beautiful city center of Salerno and stroll along the "lungomare" with views over both the Amalfi Coast and Cilento National Park.
Here there is the possibility to add one or more extra nights to discover Mt. Vesuvius and Pompeii. Contact us for more information about this addition.

The hikes are of easy to moderately challenging character, with optional extensions or shorter alternatives. The Amalfi Coast's beautifully steep landscape involves quite a few elevation differences and many stone steps. The trails are mostly well-marked and the terrain pleasant.

Good accommodation at 4**** hotel in Cava de Tirreni and 3*** hotels in Salerno, Amalfi and Praiano. All rooms have private bathrooms and breakfast is included every day. A welcome dinner is included. Comfortable, cozy and perfect for relaxation after the day's hikes.
